Emmanuel Ahimana


Emmanuel Ahimana is a dancer, choreographer, theatre performer, assistant dance teacher

His dance styles are Modern, Ballet, Contemporary, Afro African.


The love and gift to dance came to him like a birthright during his childhood. Emmanuel believes that dancing makes him whole.

In 2011 and 2016 he performed at the Ubumuntu Festival, where he worked with Lyric Jackson, Wendy Jehlen through Mashirika. In 2019 he choreographed the play ‘Illustrated the Power of Unity’ Emmanuel was selected as the 8 final dancers for the Mashirika project where he performed in ‘Dance my story’.


Emmanuel is a dedicated and professional dancer who is ready to learn and push his career to the international level.

The love and gift to dance came to him like a birthright during his childhood. He started dancing spontaneously and experienced how creativity occurs in the moment, timelessly and freely by imitating his siblings while dancing traditional dances at home.

He worked with some of the best teachers and choreographers such as Misty Copeland from ABT Studio Company and Kirven James Boyd from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater who inspired his career.

He is currently an assistant dance teacher at MindLeaps and a choreographer.
