Mwamgeni Mambo is a performing artist in the field of the traditional and contemporary dance.

Based in Dar es salaam, she is a co-founder and member of the Girls Power dance group which supports the growth of women dance artists through movement-based performances and entrepreneurship.

Mwamgeni is also a certified yoga teacher and specializes in teaching children. She has been selected as a dance artist for site specific and stage choreographies by Johnny Autin (UK France), Jan van Esch (Netherlands), Nantea Dance company (Tanzania) and Soraya Thomas (Reunion/France).
