I am an energetic and dedicated choreographer, dancer and yoga instructor from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I have been working with contemporary and traditional Tanzanian dance forms for the past 5 years and have performed with a variety of choreographers and companies such as Maura Morales (Cuba/Germany) where we performed in Germany at the Asphalt and Tanz Modern Tanz festivals, Utu kwanza organization (Tanzania), Love Arts (Tanzania) and Hope Human Rights (Germany).

I co-created a dance performance called ‘Rise and Fall’, which was selected for the East African Nights of Tolerance festival in Kigali, Rwanda (2021) and the Haba na Haba international dance festival in Dar es Salaam (2022).

I am currently assistant director of the Sisi dance theatre where we create dance performances that address the different social challenges in Tanzanian society.
